Wooden Bowl and Chopsticks
This is a gorgeous combination of a large wooden bowl and a set of handcrafted Teak Chopsticks.
The bowl is 15 cm's wide across the top and 10 cm's wide across the bottom, and is 6 cm's high. (Note each bowl is individually handmade, their may be slight variations)
The chopsticks are 25 cm long, standard size for eating chopsticks. They are re-useable, simply handwash and re use. Definitely not plastic and throwaway.
Each utensil is individually made by members of a small village. You can see the love and care that has gone into each, how they have spent time making the wood perfectly smooth by hand sanding 5 separate times, in the way that the grain in the wood has been brought to the fore.
For anyone wanting sustainable, non plastic, non toxic kitchen utensils, this is ideal for your kitchen and table.
* Both bowl and chopsticks are handmade with no lacquers or dyes or chemicals used in the making of it,. The only thing on the bowl or the chopsticks is a food safe oil, both are 100 % food safe
* Handwash only and you can re-oil periodically with a food safe oil. Do not put in the dishwasher. Do not soak; wood is porous and will soak up water which may cause the wood to crack when it dries. Do not store in direct sunlight as this may cause warping and discolouration.
