Small Teak Wood Spatula

Handmade  Teak Wood Spatula

Cooking and food are very important in Thai culture.  Most people know and love Thai food, but the sharing of food is an important feature of life in Thailand, whether it be street food, or from a restaurant or at home.

Spatulas are used for all kinds of cooking, from omelettes, stir frys or pad thai. The Thai word for spatula is ไม้พาย mi phaai or simply พาย Phaai.

This beautiful spatula measures 29 cm's in length, 5.5 cm's across the head and 2 cm's across the handle. It has a  curved edge, and is ideal for cooking eggs, stir fries, omelettes.

Made from Teak wood, which is very hard and strong it is great for your cooking needs. The wood does not transmit heat like a metal utensil, nor does it splinter or crack like plastic, meaning it can be used safely with Teflon pans and woks.

There are no chemicals or lacquers or colour dyes used in making the spatula so it is completely food safe.

Handwash only and you can re-oil periodically with a food safe oil. Looked after, this spatula will last a lifetime.
