Handcrafted Wooden Spatula
This is a beautifully crafted spatula measuring 38 cm's in length, 8 cm's across the head and 2 cm's across the handle. It has a slightly curved edge, and is ideal for cooking things like eggs and omelettes. Each wooden spatula has an eyelet in the handle for easy storage.
Made from Teak wood, which is very hard, strong and durable it is perfect for your cooking needs. The wood does not transmit heat like a metal utensil,. Nor does it splinter or crack like plastic spatulas, you can use this safely with non stick pans and cast iron dishes.
Each spatula is individually made by members of a small village. You can see the love and care that has gone into each, how they have spent time making the wood perfectly smooth by hand sanding 5 separate times, in the way that the grain in the wood has been brought to the fore.

There are no chemicals or lacquers or colour dyes used in making the spatula so it is 100% food safe.
Handwash only and you can re-oil periodically with a food safe oil. Do not soak; wood is porous and will soak up water which may cause the wood to crack when it dries. Do not store in direct sunlight as this may cause warping and discolouration.
Note each item is individually made, so grains in the wood may vary from piece to piece.
