This handcrafted wooden bowl measures  11 cm's across the top, 7 cm's across the base and 6 cm's high. (Note because each bowl is individually handmade, there may be slight variations)

This lovely wooden bowl is made from sustainably harvested Teak Wood which is strong and durable and is naturally waterproof.  This bowl can be used for a wide range of uses, it can be a wooden nut bowl, a wooden chutney bowl, a wooden cereal bowl or wooden soup bowl, a wooden rice bowl or a wooden curry bowl. It can even be used as a wooden drinking bowl for things like Kava or even as a wooden jewellery bowl.

Each bowl  is individually made by members of a small village. You can see the love and care that has gone into each, how they have spent time making the wood perfectly smooth by hand sanding 5 separate times, in the way that the grain in the wood has been brought to the fore.

Made from sustainably harvested Teak wood, which is very  strong and durable, this beautiful wooden bowl can be used as an individual  salad bowl, cereal bowl, soup bowls  or as curry bowls. Because each of our bowls are waterproof they have a wide range of uses.

Teak wood is very hard and durable, ideal for cooking, serving and eating. 

Teak is also naturally waterproof so salsas and sauces, even tea and coffee can be put in the bowl safely if you wish.

There were no chemicals or lacquers  or colour dyes used making it, so it is 100 % food safe.

Each wooden bowl is hand sanded 5 times so they are very smooth, with no rough edges.

Handwash only and you can re-oil periodically with a food safe oil.  Do not soak; wood is porous and will soak up water which may cause the wood to crack when it dries. Do not store in direct sunlight as this may cause warping and discolouration.
