This handcrafted wooden bowl measures 17 cm's across the top, 9 cm's across the base and 6 cm's high. (Note each bowl is individually handmade, there may be slight variations)
Made from Teak wood, which is very strong and durable, and also naturally waterproof. So there are a wide range of uses for these bowls, think wooden salad bowls, wooden cereal bowls, wooden soup bowls, wooden curry bowls and many more.
Each bowl is individually made by members of a small village. You can see the love and care that has gone into each, how they have spent time making the wood perfectly smooth by hand sanding 5 separate times, in the way that the grain in the wood has been brought to the fore.

Each wooden bowl is made from sustainably harvested Teak Wood.
There were no chemicals or lacquers or colour dyes used making it, so it is 100 % food safe.
Each of our wooden bowls is hand sanded 5 times so it is very smooth, with no rough edges.
Handwash only and you can re-oil periodically with a food safe oil. Do not soak; wood is porous and will soak up water which may cause the wood to crack when it dries. Do not store in direct sunlight as this may cause warping and discolouration.
This bowl was crafted in a small village and your purchase of it helps maintain a village and the surrounding environment, enabling skills to be learnt and passed on.
