Set of 4 Handmade Wooden Chopsticks
This is a set of 4 wooden chopsticks, each chopstick is handmade, all made in a Chinese style, perfect for eating with. Because they are handmade they are each unique, they will not look identical to each other. The lengths and size of each is the same but the grain in the wood is different in each one. For those that want a pair of chopsticks that are not plastic or discardable, but are unique and last a lifetime.
* Eco friendly! These beautiful wooden chopsticks are made from sustainably harvested or repurposed Teak.
* Because they are made from Teak wood, which is very hard and strong they are ideal to eat with or even to cook with. The wood does not transmit heat like a metal utensil, nor does it splinter or crack like plastic. They can be used with hot or cold dishes.
* The wooden chopsticks measure 25 cm's long, 5 mm's wide at the base and 1 mm's wide at the tip. They are comfortable to hold and the smooth narrowed tip makes it easier to pick up food. Ideal for eating.
There are no lacquers used, the wooden chopsticks are not chemically treated, nor colour dyed making it a completely food safe cooking utensil
Handwash only and make sure it dries before storing it away. Oil with a food safe oil as needed. Dry after washing and leave in a dry place. Oiling will make the grain darker over time Do not soak; wood is porous and will soak up water which may cause the wood to crack when it dries. Do not store in direct sunlight as this may cause warping and discolouration.
