Handcrafted Wooden Bowl with Handle
Each wooden bowl is individually handcrafted, with great care and attention to detail, to create something lovely to have in your kitchen or dining room.
This beautiful handcrafted wooden bowl measures 8 cm's across, and 3 cm's high. The handle is 4 cm's long. (Note because each bowl is individually handmade, there may be slight variations)
Ideal for nuts or chips or even as a small individual serving bowl. This lovely wooden bowl is made from sustainably harvested Teak Wood.
Teak wood is very hard and durable, ideal for cooking, serving and eating. Teak is also naturally waterproof so salsas and sauces, even tea and coffee can be put in the bowl safely if you wish.
Because they are so well made, and strong and made without chemicals or lacquers, children can safely use them. They can use them for food, or they can play with them as part of heuristic play.
There were no chemicals or lacquers or colour dyes used making it, so it is 100 % food safe.
Each wooden bowl is hand sanded 5 times so ithey are very smooth, with no rough edges.
Handwash only and you can re-oil periodically with a food safe oil. Do not soak; wood is porous and will soak up water which may cause the wood to crack when it dries. Do not store in direct sunlight as this may cause warping and discolouration.
This bowl was crafted in a small village and your purchase of it helps maintain a village and the surrounding environment, enabling skills to be learnt and passed on.
