This handcrafted wooden bowl measures 13 cm's across the top, 7 cm's across the base and 6 cm's high. (Note each bowl is individually handmade, there may be slight variations)
Each wooden bowl is made from sustainably harvested Teak Wood.
Each bowl is individually made by members of a small village. You can see the love and care that has gone into each, how they have spent time making the wood perfectly smooth by hand sanding 5 separate times, in the way that the grain in the wood has been brought to the fore.
For anyone wanting sustainable, non plastic, non toxic kitchen utensils, this is ideal for your kitchen and table.
Made from Teak wood, which is very strong and durable, this beautiful wooden bowl can be used as individual salad bowls, cereal bowls, soup bowls or as curry bowls. Because each of our bowls are waterproof they have a wide range of uses.
There were no chemicals or lacquers or colour dyes used making it, so it is 100 % food safe.
All our wooden bowls are hand sanded 5 times so they are very smooth, with no rough edges.
Handwash only and you can re-oil periodically with a food safe oil. Do not soak; wood is porous and will soak up water which may cause the wood to crack when it dries. Do not store in direct sunlight as this may cause warping and discolouration.
