Handcrafted Wooden Platters
These wooden platters can be used as plates, as grazing platters, or for putting large deserts on them eg pavlovas or cheesecakes
The wooden platters come in four sizes - 35 cm's ,30 cm's wide, 25 cm's 20 cm's and 15 cm's.
Each wooden platter is made from sustainably harvested Teak Wood. Each piece is beautifully designed and crafted, ideal for serving or eating from whether inside or outside.
Each wooden platter is individually made by members of a small village. You can see the love and care that has gone into each, how they have spent time making the wood perfectly smooth by hand sanding 5 separate times, in the way that the grain in the wood has been brought to the fore.

There were no chemicals or lacquers or colour dyes used making the wooden platter so it is 100 % food safe.
Hand sanded 5 times each wooden platter is very smooth, with no rough edges.
Handwash only and make sure it dries before storing it away. Oil with a food safe oil as needed. Dry after washing and leave in a dry place. Oiling will make the grain darker over time Do not soak; wood is porous and will soak up water which may cause the wood to crack when it dries. Do not store in direct sunlight as this may cause warping and discolouration.
