Handcrafted Wooden Fish Slice
This beautiful wooden fish slice has been lovingly handcrafted, including being hand sanded 5 separate times. Made from Teak, it is very strong and durable and is an excellent wooden utensil to have in your kitchen.
The fish slice has a strong sturdy blade, with perforations that allow water or oil to drain away. It is ideal for poached eggs or fritters, burgers and of course, fish. The long slits help the blade slide underneath food without breaking it, so you can also use the fish slice to serve foods like cake or cookies.
Being strong and hard, it does not crack or splinter in the heat as plastic does, so you can use them on non stick pans and pots. They are also wonderful non stick utensils in ceramic dishes and cookware.
Made of Teak wood, it will not transmit heat like metal nor will it transfer chemicals to your food.

The Fish Slice measures 38 cm's long, 8 cm's wide at the head and 2.5 cm's wide in the handle.
There are no lacquers used, the wooden fish slice is not chemically treated, nor colour dyed making it a completely food safe cooking utensil.
Handwash only and you can re-oil periodically with a food safe oil. Dry after washing and leave in a dry place.
