Handcrafted  Teak Wooden Bowl 8 cm

These small wooden bowls grace any table, whether you are dining inside or out, If you need a bowl for jam or chutney, peanuts or dips, these distinctive teak bowls are ideal. 

They make gorgeous dipping bowls on your table, all 100% food safe. If you want to, you can use them as a bowl for a babies food. 

They can be used for drinking out of, as they are waterproof, even drinks like kava., 

You can even use them to put earrings and other small jewellery pieces.

The wooden bowl is 8 cm's wide across the top and 5.5 cm's wide across the bottom, and is 4 cm's high. (Note because each bowl is individually handmade, there may be slight variations)

This lovely wooden bowl is made from sustainably harvested Teak Wood which is strong and durable and is naturally waterproof.  This bowl can be used for a wide range of uses, it can be a wooden sauce bowl, wooden spice bowl, a wooden nut bowl, a wooden chutney bowl. It can even be used as a wooden drinking bowl for things like Kava or even as a wooden jewellery bowl.

Because they are so well made, and strong and made without chemicals or lacquers,  children can safely use them. They can use them for food or they can also be used for heuristic play. They can be used by children for pretend play set ups and sorting play.

Each wooden bowl   is individually made by members of a small village. You can see the love and care that has gone into each, how they have spent time making the wood perfectly smooth by hand sanding 5 separate times, in the way that the grain in the wood has been brought to the fore.  Something beautiful for your kitchen.

Teak wood is very hard and durable, ideal for cooking, serving and eating. 

There were no chemicals or lacquers  or colour dyes used making it, so it is 100 % food safe.

Each wooden bowl is hand sanded 5 times so it is very smooth, with no rough edges.

Handwash only and you can re-oil periodically with a food safe oil.  Do not soak; wood is porous and will soak up water which may cause the wood to crack when it dries. Do not store in direct sunlight as this may cause warping and discolouration.
