Wooden Toast Tongs - not a new thing
Why Wooden Spoons are Making a Comeback
Microplastics in plastic cutting boards
Microplastics are something we have become much more aware
of in recent years. Both in terms of where they are being generated and where they end up eg the oceans, in our foods and in our bodies.
Science and research are revealing many different places that we are creating microplastics and some are surprising.
One that I should have thought about, but never made the connection to, was plastic cutting boards.
The Benefits of Using a Wooden Cheese Board
No Salt
We have been out of salt where I live for a couple of weeks, no idea why. Finally back in stores Monday this week.
We use salt and spices for all kinds of things, personally I don't eat much but I do use it daily as a mouth wash for my gums on the advice of my dental hygienist.
Our handcrafted salt and spice spoons are a great way to add or serve salts and spices. Completely plastic free!
